March 2016

  • Congrats to Our Students of the Month for March!!

Representing the 9th Grade is Kade-Jay Thomas.

Representing the 10th Grade is Naajia Shakir.

"I was born and raised in Camden, NJ. As I grow in this known to be cruel city, I strive to determine my path to success, and not letting anything deter me from my sight. Besides "Statistics are used much like a drunk uses a lamppost: for support, not illumination"-Vin Skully. I am a lover of books, sneakers, and beautiful sceneries. I have many dreams just like everyone else, and I hope that one day I will be able to accomplish them. I pray that my love for knowledge and education will help me get where I want to be. I also want the same for my peers."

Representing the 11th Grade is Natalia Rodriguez.
"I am Natalia Rodriguez, I’m seventeen years old and I’m currently a junior. I was born in Queens, New York and moved to Camden, New Jersey when I was 7 years old alongside my two sisters and parents. Next Fall I will be attending college and I’m still on the fence about either majoring in marketing and directing or becoming a pediatric nurse practitioner. I volunteer at The Kroc Center whenever volunteers are needed and I was one of their teen counselors for the 2015 summer Kroc Kids Camp. Aside from volunteering at the Kroc Center, I have previously volunteered for an animal organization called ChowHound House and have recently taken part of the teaching program Junior Achievement. Through my education and my both present and future accomplishments, I hope to dissolve the stigma that some people have about not only Camden in general, but also the people that come from Camden."
Representing the 12th Grade is Christian Placencia.
"My name is Christian Placencia. I was born and raised in Camden, New Jersey. If I was asked how I would characterize myself, I would reply and say I am resilient, honest, responsible, and kind. My entire high school career consists of hard work academically. I thrive to succeed and open a door to a great future. After high school, I wish to attend a college of my choosing and major in computer science. This would eventually offer me an opportunity to major in computer engineering."

    Congratulations to All!!

February 2016

  • Brimm's February Students of the Month!!

Representing the 9th Grade is Thoai Phan.

Representing the 10th Grade is Esmeralda Pena.
"I was born and raised in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Having a family of immigrants and being an immigrant myself has instilled the essence of hard work and progression in me. Those two aspects drive me in everything I do. Education is very important to me and I seek knowledge daily. My ambitions and dreams go beyond anything this world can handle. Amongst those dreams is the strong desire that in everything my family and teachers have taught me, I somehow make them proud. They have blessed me beyond what I could have ever done for myself. God only knows how deeply grateful I am for all their help. Thus, all my achievements are a special tribute to them."

Representing the 11th Grade is Monique Green.
Representing the 12th Grade is Cer'ec Bell.
